Ports & Terminals Engineer

Maran Gas Maritime Inc., one of the leading ship management companies and part of the Angelicoussis Group, is looking for a motivated Engineer (in any field).

The candidate will work in the Marine & Operations Department (Ports & Terminals team) and will be primarily responsible for ship-shore compatibility studies, e.g.:

• Completing requested terminal approval documentation and providing necessary files for ship approval and acceptance;
• Running Optimoor mooring studies, ships compatibility assessments, and terminal assessments including due diligence review;
• Documenting relevant terminal information and providing the same to the ships and other departments as needed;
• Acting on terminal requirements in advance of port calls;
• Communicating with Charterers, Terminals, Agents and Port Authorities;
• Assisting in other Marine & Operations Department Processes, as required;

Candidate must have:

• An Engineering degree from an institution of higher education.
• Strong analytical and organisational, as well as interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in the English Language, both written and oral.
• IT literacy.

Previous professional experience is not required but will be considered an advantage.
