Job description

Angelicoussis Group, one of the world’s leading ship management organisations, is looking for an experienced and motivated Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist.


The Procurement Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist is responsible for managing and analyzing procurement data, generating reports, and offering actionable recommendations to support both daily operations and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses a strong grasp of procurement processes, exceptional analytical skills, and proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI and SSRS. Experience in project management of compact projects with software suppliers and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for procurement-related systems is also required.


Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Power BI and SSRS and SQL Database queries.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support procurement initiatives and decision-making processes.

Reporting:

  • Maintain existing and generate new reports on procurement performance metrics, supplier performance, cost savings, and other performance indicators.
  • Create visually engaging and comprehensible dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure reports meet stakeholder needs.

Project Management:

  • Lead compact projects with software suppliers to implement enhancements or upgrades to procurement-related systems.
  • Develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders and escalate as needed to resolve challenges.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

  • Plan and execute UAT activities for procurement-related software applications, ensuring that system enhancements or changes meet user requirements and are free of defects.
  • Document test cases, conduct testing, and collaborate with stakeholders to validate test results and ensure system integrity.

Job requirements

Candidate must have:

  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a procurement or supply chain environment.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in project management, including managing compact projects with software suppliers.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
