Communications Officer (1 year contract)

Angelicoussis Group, one of the world’s leading Shipping Groups is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Communications Officer for a 12-month fixed term contract to manage the internal and external communications of the Angelicoussis Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Greek and international media coverage and report regularly on findings;
• Manage the quarterly internal newsletter and ensure its timely delivery;
• Maintain an active presence on social media platforms (LinkedIn and Instagram), ensuring that engaging content is consistently published;
• Handle media enquiries, interview requests, public speaking events, press releases, sponsorships, media advertising, and shipping industry awards;
• Maintain and update corporate materials, branding guidelines, and content on the company website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Have an active role in the organisation of internal events;
• Handle all internal and external communications requests;

Candidate must have

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a similar position.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms, copywriting, and editing.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video editing software will be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
• Outstanding organisational and planning abilities.
